Hello folks I am brand new to this forum . Greetings to all . I have recently purchased this firing system thru a Chinese company that specializes in fireworks firing equipment , mortars matches , stage effects , etc. It is a 180 cue cable wired system . I researched as much as I could before making the decision of purchasing and upon their reassurance of a quality firing system . Tried it on a few cues with test lights and some talon igniters , seems to be fine , although it uses 130 v(capacatative discharge) to fire that it burns talons too quickly and does not ignite fuse , no big deal to me ... Anyhow , just very curious if anyone has had or know of anyone that has used this system ? Thanks

Just curious why you picked this system, I have seen it before but never researched. I wanted something that can be easily returnable and repaired if something went wrong with no hassles. Like Cobra (Which I have) or Remotefiringsystems.com Dewey systems that have his own mods done. Is there no selection for a longer burn time for talons anywhere? Good luck and have fun!

Yes indeed , I took the chance of buying this from China with regards to what I paid for it . Surprisingly , their tech support is great by email . I shot them about a hundred questions before and after purchase with quick response times . I plan to use the system to fire big shell pyromusical shows with ematch as I am a licensed display supervisor. As far as lighting visco fuse if I need, I'll simply use a piece of black match with ematch, quite a simple solution. This is a cable wired system , I have been trained not to trust the wireless systems and I am not at all saying they are no good . I will need to do much testing with this system before firing a large show , hope it works ,lol.

is it wrong to ask what it did cost you to buy & ship?

I'm not sure if that is good, I'm not a professional, just started learning this year, but wow! Then again if it does what you need it to then good. You'll have to keep us informed when you use it on a big show for how it worked out for you.

180 cues for $2000 CAD is pretty good... around $11/cue.
I'm assuming this system is programmable so it can be scripted to do these shows?
Comparably, a standard 9V only Cobra System would be around $4750 CAD at the currently shite exchange rate...
I'd love to see some more detailed write-up and pics/vids of the system.
What part of the country are you located in? I'm sure if anyone is near you they'd love to check it out (if you're willing)

Hi Xplode This system is not scriptable . I learned my firing with a borrowed Pyromate Mini 96 ($3500 USD) firing system which is just a simple 96 cue single cue fire. This system is system is similar but almost double the cues and can step fire from as quick as .1sec/cue to 9.9sec/cue , salvo fire (several cues at once from selected mods)or simply single fire. I fire my shows custom pyromusical after spending much time scripting the firing order/times to beats. Prob spend 20 or more hrs on a 15 min show, but I enjoy it lol . I only do non profit shows for family friends, etc. Have not fired a show with this yet, but fairly confident it should be fine . I am from Saskatchewan. Here is a link on you tube of same system but only 90 cues www.youtube.com/watch?v=povLfj6zGJ4. Hope this answers any questions .....

Xplode if you are looking for a cheap system rfremotech has a big sale on their new system. It looks kind of strange though. www.rfremotech.com/Activities/Promotion151030.htmlI have one of their other systems which I got off ebay for like $300 US (when the exchange was better) and its 32 queues so around the same price per queue. Its programmable (can even sync to music) but the software is not the greatest. You can also step fire through the queues which is the feature I normally use. What I did last year was a step programmed most of the queues then the last few queues I setup with the programmable function so I could have it auto fire a few queues at once and then some delays before other queues went off. This is the one I have (you can bid on it and most likley no one else will bid so you will get it for 299.99) www.ebay.com/itm/Intellectualized-Fireworks-Wireless-Firing-System-MB32Q-Programable-FSK-Group-/252208509403?hash=item3ab8cc71db

Thanks for the link Khogan, but I'm already rocking a 13 module Rechargeable Cobra System with Audiobox and dual 18R2 remotes. I just like knowing whats up with other products because I'm curious. I heavily considered designing and building my own firing system (and hopefully still will one day) just for the sheer challenge and fun of it. I got as far as mocking up some prototype electronics so I could do bi-directional communication that could actually check continuity via wireless link, but got sucked into the cobra world since lots of guys I shoot with use it so I have access to borrow equipment if I need to.

Is the Audiovox worth it?

I've heard from one of my pyros, it was pretty good actually.
@ Xplode Whats the purpose behind having 2 modules? Just having a backup? or dual broadcasting?
