Not to spoil to much of the movie.
I watched it Friday night, and while it was interesting it wasn't by any means entertaining. I do realize its a documentary but I was more entertained by a michael moore doc. then this. They didn't spend much time at all in Canada, which I think sucks but expected. Most of it was talking to manufactures and asking why they do what they do. They talk briefly with the NFA and APA, they go to the convention. In my personal opinion the DOC. could have been so much more then what it was. By the end I was glad it was only $20.00.
Haven't seen any of the bonus footage yet.
Any one else seen it yet?

That's disappointing I have really been looking forward to seeing this. How was the actual quality of the film? I was going to buy the DVD then though about how I have not watched a DVD in ages and they are pretty low quality (480P) so now I think I am just going to wait for a digital download in the hopes that it will be in HD.

The quality I think was fine, it really didn't make to much of a difference, walking around with a camera talking to people.

I was an original kickstarter backer and I was a little disappointed as well. But it was still an interesting watch. They're working on a mini webisode series as well that will hopefully encompass some of the footage they took of the festivals and more manufacturing details. I think they just tried to cover too many locations into a single video... too much in too little time.

I think we are all biased about our passion. Clearly we all love pyro and think it's amazing. I think the vast majority of the public love to see fireworks but don't care a lick about behind the scenes.
That's probably why Discovery never renewed Pyros.
That said, that's too bad it wasn't that good.
