Thanks guys. Appreciate the kind words. Here's a link to the setup of the show. You'll see the finale cakes and my candle rack really briefly in the beginning. I'll send a picture if you want more detail. youtu.be/LJRUwlYmZEs

I hear you pyro boss. Neither was I until I thought I could shoot off 45 Roman candles at once. Each row had five candles tied to each other. So in total 9 rows each with 5 candles in them.

I’m especially interested in the ones that went off at 8:52 (I think you had a rack full of them looking at the setup video).

If I recall it was a mixture of rainbow and red BEM single mortars. Can’t remember exact name of them. It’s been awhile. Lol Thanks guys. Appreciate the kind words. Ah perhaps those no longer exist. I took a look at the BEM site and couldn’t find those names. I’ve actually never fired a mortar before because I always thought it was too expensive for a single shot. After seeing how big they can be in your video I’m leaning towards buying a few to try out. Grisom suggested the multicolor peony Brazilian shell from Competition fireworks. He said it’s one of the biggest breaks out there. If it’s close to what we saw in your finale maybe I’ll blow my whole budget on then mortars (my 7 minute show will then become a concise a 7 second show hah)!

Markhampyro used BEM’s red peony and colour peony - they currently retail for $7 each .

Those are really nice but I’m not sure it’s the one I’m after. The one I’m looking for enters the screen at 8:46 with a bushy tail and then explodes into large silver brocade?
However, I could be wrong again and perhaps humidity and smoke are covering up the center of the firework and exaggerating the silver streams. Maybe Eldorado/Silverado? Though I think those are smaller shells so I can’t see them being bigger than the others.

Haha glad I could bring on some nostalgia for you!
Halloween is 7 months away so I better pump the breaks (pun intended) on my fireworks research. It’s a shame we don’t get to have fun on Canada day like other parts of Canada.

I’m in BC so no Canada Day fireworks without a permit allowed here. Whereas in Ontario I think you only get Canada Day and Victoria Day.
I’d much rather have Canada Day. Warmer weather and it’s a celebration every Canadian enjoys participating in!

I guess I should have just clicked on the next video to see what it was hahahaha! sadly BEM will be tricky for me to get. Maybe silver dragon by Mystical will do the trick? Although that’s a silver peony...

Totally agree! Great mortars and priced to afford lots of them. Even though I use them every year, I am always shocked by both the bang and flash.
