The biggest mine on the table was Bee Hive by Mystical. I haven't seen one of those in awhile.

I actually credit my crazy uncle for starting me on the road to loving fireworks. Back in the olden times (of yore), I used to go to the hardware store with him to buy firecrackers by the pound. It was the same basic format as candies at the dollar store now. He always made Canada Day too much fun!
Loved those firecrackers. I would sit on the curb and drop them into the storm sewer to listen to the boom and echo. I know... kinda stupid...but it was the sixties after all!

I'm with you on that one. I won't recount my stories of growing up with firecrackers and what we did with them, at least not publicly 😉. But the hours of fun, enjoyment and experimentation with those little explosive devices is a joy to remember. When ERD banned their sale and use in 1972 they were quite clear that they regarded firecrackers as being quite innocuous when used as they were supposed to be used, but it was people like you and I who used them in the most creative ways that caused the problems. Sigh.... oh for those innocent days when drugs were something your mum gave you out of the medicine cabinet. (and you certainly didn't like it) SHOP Fireworks FX.com

I thought Fire Cracker are restricted, not banned.
I’ve got 18 cases of legal crackers for Chinese New Years celebrations
Municipalities put it in their bylaw as to whether they allow them or not

They were banned first then at some point in time they changed it to restricted due to challenges regarding their use in celebration of traditional cultural events. SHOP Fireworks FX.com
