Soooo this is an annual show that we do, and its kind of a "let's try new stuff" kind of show.
So I talked the boss into ordering a stack of comets (indoor prox because of cars parked too close to meet 1.3 rules) and a box of wire. Then I set about wiring up 56 comets to chase around the outside of a baseball field.
The rest of the show was a mix of ideas brainstormed up by the lead shooter and myself. You can't see it in the beginning, but the first blast is a huge cannon, pointed at the big screen at the back of the field, so the blast is simulating it shooting a ball out. The rest seems relatively self explanatory.
The show was somewhere in the 15-18 minute window, so this is a just a quick cut down of some of the key points.
For the keeners, you may notice my r2 is still connecting to modules when the show starts. We're looking into why that was. Not a big deal, the majority of the show went perfectly.
