They list the official courses on the website but it seems now other people can put on their own classes and those do not seem to get listed anywhere. The one I did I only found out about because Pyro Boss posted it here.

This is where the government ERD has failed, they still should be listing where courses are on there website. Alot (Most) people do not know to go search professional fireworks companies to look for any courses that they are providing.

Questions. Haha.
When I did the course a few years back, it was open book. I wouldn't worry too much, they want you to know that the rules exist, and that you can look them up. The test questions weren't hard when I did it anyway.

Like Xplode said, its all open book. Its not bad at all, you will get it and mostly all common sense.
Be sure to let all the people in the course know about Canadiannpyro.ca!

Depends on the provider, we do it open book. Because you will always refer back to that book for every site plan.

Some friends of mine just did the course here in BC M's it wasn't open book. Felt bad for telling them it would be lol.
They passed anyways, it's not that hard if you pay attention.

I know AirMagic in Toronto does the awareness course every quarter. They list it on their website. I've sent some of my staff there.

I took the ERD Safety course for display assistant and passed. It was at Airmagic in Etobicoke, thanks to Mark Fine, made the trip from Ottawa worthwhile. Had a great day!
