Nice small show man! Can't go wrong with the snake!, no black sky anymore. What cakes did you use? In order, 2 Ladybugs, Close Encounter, Fiesta (original one), and RIP. Gotta say it was nice to blow something up. Lol

Toronto show is limited in what it can shoot as well. No big shells. Mostly cakes, comets, and Roman Candles.

I've seen some kits in store during the season but the selection isn't as wide as it is online.

The cobra setting for talon doesn't affect timing in any way. It simply changes how long the 18m keeps applying power to ensure ignition. (2 sec instead of.1 for ematches) Ya. That's what I meant. Hahahahaha

The Cobra has a setting for ematch and talon. Just choose the right setting and system will delay automatically for Talons.

Have you tried cutting the fuse at an angle prior to clipping igniter into it?

I am in contact with an event organisor that does a festival near Barrie. Its an all weekend long event with a 1.3 show Saturday night at 10:00pm. Before really jumping into this, do you guys think we will have enough people to put teams together? We would need to advertise this as much as we can so the first event would be a success!. I would participate pyro boss (i.e. One team of four or even even less depending on what you guys decide constitutes a team). But I still think a 10 min show is way too long for a small budget of $500 (assuming that's what you guys are deciding on).

Depending on how heavily involved I get. I was thinking it being a 2 day event. 3 10 minutue shows in competition the first night. The secon night, have 2 in competition and then 1.3g show to finish it off. Love the idea guys. I would keep each amateur show to 3 -5 mins if it's $500. I mean my finale would be $500 or more in an ideal scenario. So a limit would have to be set. As well, are we doing pyromusical or just a shoot? Are we allowed e matching? Are we allowed to fuse? Are we allowed to take cakes apart? Lots of rules need to be put in place. In my humble opinion, we set a $1500 limit. Any team who wants to join can. Each team responsible for their own budget but we would have to buy everything from one source. This way no one has an unfair advantage being able to buy more pyro from somewhere cheaper. Sponsors would take care of permits and insurance. Best team wins completion based on what I dunno yet.

I've done three shows this year. Last one was in Brampton for Canada Day.

We barely get it.. It used to be 4 nights of fireworks, but keeping the expensive sponsorship is difficult. Really hope they keep it up. If there's a city to be jealous of, it's Montreal and the festival at Laronde. Went to see Montreal show for first time and saw Croatia win second place. A stadium built for fireworks....it's a must go. Each show is 30 minutes.

Jeez, why doesn't Toronto or any other town have something like this anymore? I remember the Benson&Hedges fireworks competition on the Toronto lake front, it was amazing and brought tons of people to Ontario Place. The tobacco ban on advertising killed the sponsorship of the show. No one else picked it up.

I helped with the GFA show in Brampton. It was a great show. Ten minutes long with music attached to it. Great company to work with!

That was great Markhampyro, very good on the timing of each one. The candle rack you made did a nice job in the show!. Thx. I was super happy how the angled rack turned out.

What shell was that at the 6:13 to 6:15 mark? That looks like two shells going off at once. Red burst volcano and silverado is my guess.
