It was a combination of 3,4 & 5" Shells from Mystical and Fireworks Factory. 260 cues total IIRC. I am not able to mention exact pricing, but we undercharged for the show, so the total was under the $10k mark. A significant portion of the budget has to go to the Harbor Patrol and the Tymac Launch Services for the barge, tugs, and loading ramp use... Here's a more normal view for those who prefer. www.youtube.com/watch?v=kvQj7PqekHAI was supposed to have access to borrow a bunch of extra GoPro cameras and was going to try to get a bunch of extra angles to be able to cut together a nicer video, but oh well. Next time. The camera doing a time-lapse of the setup died early into setup as well which kind of stinks. Again, next time Cool! Thx for the info!

I would have to agree to some extent, it is on a weekday when people are most likely going to bed for work in the morning. Remember, this is when people get pissed off at fireworks when they are used in times they shouldn't be. But....but....but....it's not dark.

You know, I was just going to bed last night around 9:45 and was just ready to pass out when someone lite up a cake in the park! You know, I love fireworks and all but on a flipping weekday! come on! It doesnt get dark till 9:30ish. I probably would light up around that time too. Lol

I follow him and Joel Robinson. But probably learned the most from Dave. Although he's kinda stuck on his ways too. His way is always the right way.

It is a MINIUMUM of three shows, just because you've done three shows, doesn't mean your qualified to be a supervisor. I as a supervisor, would not recommend anyone after three. You don't learn enough after three, every show you're going to learn something new and deal with different scenarios. Anyways, welcome. What kind of experience do you have? What company have you fired with? Thx for the clarification.

I have had my Display assistant ticket for 4 years and have done enough shows to get my Supervisor ticket now! Looking forward to teaming up with fellow pyros around the province and country! Welcome! May i ask why it took the four years to become supervisor? I thought it was only three shows as assistant??

It is nice, but the MSR for it, is too much for what it does. I'm just happy it doesn't have a crackle finale like everything else.

It was a nice calm night sitting outside with some friends and family and My eyes lite up with the first boom I heard. Then, the best of all, the smell of fireworks! lol. Any one else hearing the booms in your community? Ya. It was me setting things off. Hahahaha

Its to music, usually they pick the hits of the year. They use 3 barges on the Detroit river, and its put on by Zambelli, a US company in Ohio. I know the designer for that show who is Canadian. Personally, I hate the only salutes to finish it off, I find it better if they could've added some 6" above it for some visual. I dunno. I'm a big salute fan. But ya, some visuals in combination are great.

Ya. I built one like Joel's. I used screws as well. To be honest it's a lot quicker and I've never impaled myself (touch wood). It's pretty easy. Just make sure your base is stable. If you want I can take a few pics of mine. Nothing pretty but it does the job.

Wow Peter, do you get financial aid for your show or is it all out of pocket?? If they're getting that big, I'm surprised they aren't making you get event permits. Ya. I'm surprised you haven't had permit issues either.

Nice list Peterborough. But with so many cakes, how do you determine what order to fire them off?

Local by laws are gonna be huge to open one up. Just ask the your town/city. We had a great store move because it didn't have enough storage capacity in it and it was connected to other businesses, etc. So that's your first step.
