Hello everyone, another rookie from Saskatchewan.
Would love to get my 1.3 license eventually when life will allow it, but stuck to 1.4 till then.
Can't wait to get to know everyone else, especially interested in learning more of building racks and also curious if there any suppliers in Canada of fibreglass or HDPE pipe, as opposed to getting it shipped up from state side -Bullean

I have FRE tubes for sale, as do a number of Canadian fireworks suppliers. As for HDPE pipe, that would be available from non-fireworks sources.

If you are who I'm pretty sure you are, then you also carry and sell on of the best easiest racking systems I've ever used in my 18 years !!!!!!!! And Welcome bullbean. I used to be in to building racks as well way back when. HDPE is pretty easy to get - or it used to be - and its also not very difficult to make the plugs for them - just make sure the pipe has the proper ID, and is the heavier walled type, and don't cheap out on the plugs!!! We would always go 1 inch longer than the pipe diameter/shell size. I.E. for a 2" mortar, use a 3" plug. We would secure them with 4 screws and hot glue to make them seal well. We found that if we didn't seal them, you would get a bit of blow by that would definitely affect the lift height, and it could be seen by the little burn rings left on the ground under the mortars. And these were plugs that were so tight we had to pound them in with a mallet!
