Does anyone have a review? I only have small display once a year and thought it would be safer and more fun if it works well?

Hi Ryan:
I have an RC-150 from Rocket Fireworks as well as a system that looks identical to the Shooting Star.
My profile picture is actually a shot of me firing off the start of my finale, the year that I had my remote in my pocket and broke the antennae off. A quick McGuiver (original show, not the lame reboot) later and I had shortened range that night but it still worked.
I think that they are a fantastic option for those of us that are small time, backyard show guys. I use mine primarily for my finale, but with the addition of a 2nd system, I can also set off multiple mortars from a distance. Most of these types of systems will also fire off 2 Talon igniters at the same time. I've had my remotes for quite a few years, and find their reliability to be very good. My only firing issues have been with me learning how to properly install a Talon igniter. The smaller fuses are the biggest issue. There is a thread in here somewhere, where I was given some good advice on reliable Talon use.
It is not a professional firing system, but for us Canada Day guys, I think you can't go wrong. (except you may burn through your stash faster)
Enjoy!
