Honestly, one of the greater pleasures I take from this "hobby" is designing and building my own racks. The options and Ideas are limitless, and it just adds a bit more when your showing off the set up - to be able to say " I built all the racks too!"

We personally are not aware of any companies making consumer fireworks racks in Canada .
For the price of that one and shipping you could likely make your own .

Yes i have considered making my own, though looking at cost of materials to make something similar there wont be a lot of savings.

No, there won't be any real cost savings to build ones like that, unless you already have a metal fab shop set up!!!!! I honestly prefer to make all my 1.4g racks from wood. Wood is great - it's cheap, it can last a long time (some of my racks are now15+years old!) and best off - it can be re-configured real easily !!! If there is one thing I have noticed with 1.4g product, is it tends to change. When I started, there were very few cakes. It was mostly single shot mortars and barrages - oh the barrage selection back then!!!!!! - there was over 100 different ones to choose from!!!!. Now days its all about cakes. very few barrages left - so you see, where spending a bunch of money on racks like those, only to find in another couple of years that you have no use for them because barrages are almost non-existent, may not be a great value. But for less than $40 you could get some lumber shorts and build something similar, or better(for what you want) that could be taken apart and changed for another purpose quite easily. Now when it comes to 1.3g racks, steel/aluminum is definitely my preferred choice of material.

Was mainly looking at these as I am storing them outside under a camper at camp so they are in the elements all year round so plywood tends to not last. I have a couple of other ideas as well I am thinking about so we will see

yeah, plywood doesn't hold out very well in the elements. 2x6's do though LOL. I try to keep my racks either in a shed, or under a tarp when not in use. I have also duel purposed some of my racks, as I also do a fairly large xmass light display, and use some of the racks for supports and stands for it. They are outside and buried in snow for about 5 months of the year, and are still holding up well.

Interesting too bad they did not have it a couple of weeks ago when I ordered a 20 shot rack from them otherwise I would have used that instead of my reshipper since it was 30$US to ship to Niagara Falls anyways. Have to wonder how many others from Canada have ordered from them other than me to get them to add that option
