Hi Pyros
I'm going to do it.
...
(crickets chirping)
...
I'm going to mention what this year has been a very quiet topic.
I hope every ones Canada day was as good as you could possibly make it!
I know that this year has been a disaster for you working Pyro Professionals, but I hope that If you had no shows to run, and even if you did, that you got to spend some quality time with some family or friends this year.
I was unsure about what would happen around my place, but we kept the friends and family a bit smaller to allow a comfortable distance between groups, and the neighbourhood was so happy that people were coming up afterwards and shaking my hand while saying "Screw Covid and thank you for making Canada Day a Canada Day still!".
Here's to a brighter and louder future!!!

Happy belated Canada day !!!!!! Glad you got to shoot off some pyro and brighten everyones night.
mine didn't turn out so hot!!! Aside from weather not co-operating (rain and wind all day!), I blew my knee out the day before, so the ability to spend the day down in the field to set it all up was gone. I ended up spending my day stuck in my recliner with ice and hot packs!!!! What really bothers me about this, is my "stash" I am currently sitting on, and just when and where I am going to have an opportunity to "dispose" of it

Hey pyrot: Sorry to hear about your knee. Rest and heal so that it is ready for the next pyro night. The weather is always a worry for me also, as my wife would spaz if I had to save everything for a year. When is your next legal date?

Fireworks were banned this year where I live, thankfully I have two other places I can shot from so they are just going to be postponed for a bit and I will light them off either at camp or my fathers place later this month or next providing there is no fire ban in place

The weather is always a worry for me also, as my wife would spaz if I had to save everything for a year. When is your next legal date? Wellllllll, Kinda lucky in the fact that fireworks aren't restricted to only certain dates around here, but ............ A lot is going to depend on the weather, as for the last month, there hasn't been a single day without some type of moisture, but we are most likely heading in the complete opposite direction soon - 3 weeks+ of +30 and higher temps without a drop of anything - well the odd scattered severe storm - not enough to have them NOT put on a fire ban!!! I'm hoping towards the end of July will be good, otherwise , I'll be sitting on them until winter! And Thanks re. the knee. it's an old injury that likes to resurface 2-3 times a year with no warning. I got smart on saturday and went out and got a good quality knee brace. I should have got 2, as my other leg is finally starting to give way from having to do all the work the last week!
