The show is back on! Because it's not a "drive in show" it's now being allowed (i.e. watch from your house)?! lol. There is NO parking set up for the show so if you can't see it from your house you'll have to find a public parking lot to watch it from. The park at the beach is completely closed to allow the use of larger shells. I think I need to move about 3 hours east! Hopefully once things open up and Firefighter Chief's stop making bad medical decisions re: permits then there should be more shows closer to your area  -Jamie M. |

Yeah, that response will get you more permits.
It’s not the chiefs, it’s getting authorizations from the health unit in their area.
Why should they stick their neck out for you?
Your obviously not giving them the correct information to lean towards approval.
We still have shows NYE, only one is advertised right now. But we’ve been given the go ahead in various regions.
It’s all about how you sell it, and execute it

It’s not the chiefs, it’s getting authorizations from the health unit in their area. My local AHJ (Dave Speed) said firework shows will spread covid-19, even when set up in a drive in movie style  I asked who's medical advice he was following and he replied "it's just my thoughts". So for Whitby at least I don't think they've ever asked anyone in a health unit in our area -Jamie M. |
