Anyone see the firework show during Katy Perry’s performance? That was an epic “sky puke” (as some would call it) finale! Wish I could have seen that in person! Finale begins at 3:20 but gets increasingly exciting throughout the full minute duration. youtu.be/qNZ8XCobUUMFor our display firework friends, have you even shot a show like this? If so how much do you think they spent in that minute alone (in other words, how much am I going to have to save up to fire off a finale like that )

We've done some wicked finales in our larger shows but nothing approaching that. It would take some work but the shell count could be estimated. (and nope, I'm not going to do it!) Sky puke is one term, another is "carpet bombing". SHOP Fireworks FX.com

From what I have read the entire pyrotechnic show was estimated to cost about $6 million +. They had about 20 000 shells - ranging from 4 inch to 10 inch shells . The company that designed and shot off the show was Strictly Fx.

I also read that Garden State Fireworks was part of this production.
