I hope everyone had a good Victoria day. In all honesty, mine was terribly dull until 9:18p.m., when I lit the first wick!

Victoria Day is typically a very small affair for fireworks for me. I'm talking $50 - $75. Just a teaser. This year I bumped my budget up to just over double that. Over all, my fun was 19 cakes of various sizes and some various candles. It was around 10 minutes of mostly hand lit enjoyment for a small # of my family and a lot of neighbours. The Busy Bee, by the way, is a fantastic cake. Not too loud or big, but with a nice effect and good noise for kids of all ages. It's great for an actual backyard show, as the breaks aren't too big. My finale was 1 Night Assault, 3 Mini Menaces fanned, 2 Flickers fanned, with a Spring Garden straight up. I was blown away with what just less than $60 did. My wife loved the whole thing, and especially the Spring Garden. I am constantly amazed by the Mini Menace. Hopefully the attached picture comes out ok. My neighbour's daughter sent me a shot of one of the Spring Garden breaks. It looks like a shot from the Hubble telescope(on my phone any way).

Yeah mine was even more dull, no fireworks for me. I should have drove over and watched your show as I also live in London
