I'm a bit curious...
I heard the other day that Alberta is going Covid restriction free with a few exceptions (i.e. seniors homes) for Canada Day. To our western friends, is this true? Have any of you had inquiries about setting up shows since this announcement, or is it too soon? Will you have enough time to get inventory and permits?
Hoping for a great Canada Day for you guys out there.

Yes, this is true. Alberta is lifting the majority of restrictions on July 1. As for shows, those that are happening were already scheduled to happen. E.I. Red Deer has cancelled all Canada day celebrations, except for the fireworks show. This was planned months ago. There is just no time to try to pull off any organized event in the short notice that was given. The community that I normally do on Canada day, revamped their celebrations months ago as well, and the fireworks wasn't part of the re-vamp. 2 weeks notice is just far too short to try to plan, organize, get permits, inventory, etc for a show.
