This weekend the Hyde Park Business Association is sponsoring a Christmas Festival based on the very large property of Unger's Market. I didn't even hear about it until Wednesday during the supper time news broadcast when the association has a commercial spot every night. The festival includes many musical acts, pretty much every food truck in London, and lots of artisan venders. The best part of all... FIREWORKS AT 6:30 LAST NIGHT . It was about a 13 minute show, and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing every second of it. I was very afraid that it may get cancelled because of the wind, and wind gusts. The show also started a bit late which was giving me a bit of a lunch-bag-letdown, until I saw the first break. The people who want fireworks banned in London should have heard the squeals of delight coming from the kids next to me. They would have made the heart of any Grinch grow 3 sizes. There was a very good turn out, especially considering the way the weather was changing by the minute here. If whoever fired the show is a member of the forum or even just reads it once in a while, THANK YOU!
