This post and a couple of others just popped up as new for me this morning.?
I really like Glittering Diamonds and Vulcan Fury. Nice breaks and really good pacing. Into The Void didn't do it for me.

Glittering Diamonds was great until the last shot with the crackle. Same with Vulcan Fury, great cake until the crackle shots half way through. Into The Void could be a good addition to a crackle scene.

Gotta love the tastes and opinions. I think crackle is a love it/hate it, divisive topic in cakes. I'm a lover! It's part of what I liked about both Glittering Diamonds and Vulcan Fury. As an amateur, who typically sets off one cake at a time, I like a decisive ending to a cake. I also like cakes with changing effects. Putting the crackle V in the middle of Vulcan Fury was great for me, and I love it as an ending to almost any cake. As a cake where only one is going off at a time, I found Into the Void to be dull as heck. Just a bunch of crackle candles racked up for me. Kind of how I do gentle starts to my night to warm little kids up. Now if I had it mixed in with other cakes firing at the same time like the big boys, 3 to 6 (or lots more) of them spaced and fanned would be great. Felix is bang on there.
I need more space, more money, way bigger remote system!
