I have had my Display assistant ticket for 4 years and have done enough shows to get my Supervisor ticket now! Looking forward to teaming up with fellow pyros around the province and country!

Welcome! May i ask why it took the four years to become supervisor? I thought it was only three shows as assistant??

It is a MINIUMUM of three shows, just because you've done three shows, doesn't mean your qualified to be a supervisor.
I as a supervisor, would not recommend anyone after three. You don't learn enough after three, every show you're going to learn something new and deal with different scenarios.
Anyways, welcome. What kind of experience do you have? What company have you fired with?

I have done 5 shows . 3 with Fireworks Spectaculars and 2 with Paradise Fireworks! It comes down to money right now, but will apply this summer for the Supervisor ticket. This will also give the supervisor more input as to my abilities and work ethic.

Awesome thearm3, welcome to the forums. Where did you here about canadian pyro? I was just surfing the net for anything Canadian under fireworks and up popped this site! Nice to have this! Do you ever go to PGI? Next year it is in Fargo, ND. which is close to me.

Welcome!
I personally did 9 or 10 shows in a summer before I applied for my Supervisor upgrade. You'll need well documented notes about the shows you've done, as well as a letter of recommendation from an established supervisor to get the upgrade. I have to agree with Lumadue about needing more than three. Especially since it opens the door to running 1.3 shows.
I don't think you'll ever stop learning though. I learn something new every single show.
