Talons and Talon II are the same but connect different. Talon are from the side and the II is from the front which I think puts more stress on the ignitor. The original Talon can be taped much easier against the cake or mortar.

Hi everyone, I've always enjoyed fireworks and would on occasion buy the pre-packed from the local retailers but it was many years ago, 5 years ago i bought a packaged deal from a trailer for the first time and did not realize what was currently available now day with the cakes and barrages etc. I put a show on for the family BBQ on Canada Day and was hooked big time.
Since then, i have been putting a show on every Canada Day and now looking at the other holidays just to get my fix, but the bigger it gets the more helpers i need to launch them. I am now trying co-ordinate the show but when trying to launch several items at once is difficult to time with wind and lighters not working properly gets a little frustrating.
I was wondering if i need to be certified to use an ignition system, i know that some simple control system are available but i was considering building my own pin board like some i have seen on some other forums or you tube. What is the law in this regard?
