Well, it looks like pyrouniverse.com is not working and has been down for awhile. No sight of the website owner to get the site back up.

I wouldn't get into a big thing over Colin being missing... it would be nice if he'd hand the reins over to someone more active, but so far no luck.
It did come back up yesterday for a while... then went to a VBulletin database error for a few hours... and now its down again.
So on that note, anyone know of other active forums that are good resources? I liked pyroU for the wealth of info in the archives (something that is going to take time here) as well as the international nature of everyone participating.

Yes for sure. Pyrouniverse was probably my first pyro related website I found and I always frequent it. Its too bad, I believe someone had already said they would purchase the site from Colin. We will see I guess.
Info and archives take time, of course, this site is mostly for us Canadians to talk our fireworks and related Canadian info.

I like to browse this forum from time to time, but its more about making fireworks and there is not as much discussion about just using fireworks that you did not make yourself: www.amateurpyro.com/forums/index.phpAlso I agree 100% the Pyro Universe guy should just get someone else to run the site if he does not have time. Seems Joe Rattman is pretty much running the place now but does not have full access to everything he needs.

Dead again and has been down for a while now. I really hope it comes back but it looks like a lot of the old members are moving over here now www.pyrofan.com/forum/forum.php
