Short story. About 2years ago, my good friend had a community fireworks show, everyone picked up some fireworks and he \ some others light them off. I wasn't there but from what he told me, there were about a two dozen or more fireworks left over from the year before a mix of candles \ cakes & shells. 1/2 of the left overs where from him that he kept in the top shelf of his un-insulated garage in a big cardboard box with no lid on it. The 1/2 that were from him were low blows or complete duds. Lets say 6 out of 12 left overs, he chalks it up to, "it happens" I seem to thinks its more related to storage. Your thoughts?
Also if you have any tips for storage other then the legal ones, please share.
If I have fireworks kept around I have them in a big plastic big box in a 'some what' insulated garage with some packets of the silica gel in the box. I haven't had an issue mind you I can't recall holding onto fireworks for all that long. The e-matches I have are in a small safe.

I was just wondering. The Big ammo crate of fireworks, would that be appropriate to store them in, for the average joe?
