just a fast question. What are the toggle switches on the firing system on - off (on) - off on - off - on on - off - (on) <--- brackets indicate a momentary ON state, so once your finger leaves the switch it returns to the middle position, for those that don't know.
or are most systems using buttons to cue the fireworks?

What firing system are you talking about? I think the ones with the toggle switches would be the type of switch that when you press it it will go back to off position when you remove your hand. My Chinese system just has an electronic remote but I have seen others that have toggle switches or phsycal push buttons on the main control board.

trying to get parts together to build my own, have a case, going to try using a white board for the backing, trying to figure out the hardware. Most of the pro stuff seems to be push button cues with a way to change modes to do a continuity check. Might be better off doing a (on) - off - (on) or (on) - off and a little push button under it for a continuity check.
