What are the best recommendations on securing cakes to your boards? Last year we used glue with boards screwed around the cake. We still had some jumpers tho. Any thoughts?
thanks

If we are using Glue then we tend to rip off the bottom paper / cardboard so that the actual tubes are exposed . Then glue the tubes to the plywood .

Drywall screws, onto plywood
Most cakes have 3/4” of clay at the bottom
Drill on angle into the cake, into the plywood
2 screws on opposite corners usually holds it in place

thanks guys I've always been sceptic drilling into the cake aussie lol. We use super77 3m glue on the bottom with 1x2 screwed in tight against the sides of the cake. But found the T2 or cakes like it with punch still jumped.
