That's disappointing I have really been looking forward to seeing this. How was the actual quality of the film? I was going to buy the DVD then though about how I have not watched a DVD in ages and they are pretty low quality (480P) so now I think I am just going to wait for a digital download in the hopes that it will be in HD.

One thing they have going for them is that the city is going to pay for all (or at least half of the fireworks) so I could see why the companies want to come just for fun and some free advertising
The thing that sounds crazy to me is that they expect people to pay $200 dollars to go. I don't think your average person will pay anything to see fireworks, especially when you will still be able to see them for free from outside the grounds.

Anyone wants to get a DVD they have them available for sale now. Unfortunately it's $34 US with shipping to Canada, but they should have a digital download available at some point. If you want to get a copy visit store.pyronovelties.com/products/passfire-dvd

Good info aussie, I got what you were saying from the beginning but its nice that you clarified it even more as it seemed like there was some confusion between these and real e-matches. There was a lot of info on pyrouniverse about these when they first became available in the US, if I recall they use a different composition that is not as dangerous as real e-matches. I wonder if places like rocket will start selling these as they already sell talons. Here is a link to where you can buy them (out of stock right now but were in stock when this thread started): www.allrocketengines.ca/Igniters/Firewire-20?zenid=062kufojvs5gsqgan3ca44p930Some places still want some certification, which is fine too but not required by law: www.buyrocketmotors.com/mjg-firewire-initiator-3-foot-stripped-leads/ATF Non Regulated. However, you must show proof of NAR or Tripoli membership. Respond to email confirmation with image of your membership card. An email confirmation from either organization will suffice as well. I am interested in what type of tests you did aussie? If you can share I would be interested. Did you try to shoot consumer by attaching directly to the fuse and that's where you had bad results? Did the matches fail to ignite at all, or ignite but not light the fuse? Were you testing on 1.3 product? Seems it would be kinda pointless to use these on 1.3 as if you have 1.3 you can have real e-matches, but I could see these as useful for a consumer show. Any comparison to Talons?

On Canada day then ended up canceling the fireworks at celebration square because of the winds, but they have been rescheduled to take place during Soundbites on Sept 3rd. Also DJ Jazzy Jeff from the fresh prince is going to be there. Not sure of the time but I believe its sometime between 10:00 - 11:00. more info here culture.mississauga.ca/event/celebration-square/soundbites

Wow that's a little scary. I would contact Mystical and/or whoever you bought them from directly as maybe someone has a bad batch or they were damaged.

I have never used a roadflare but one thing I recall reading is to be careful since it drops molten material as its burning, do port-fires do the same thing?

Thanks for posting this great info! I though the same as you that you needed a pyrotechnic license for fuse and was wondering why some gun suppliers could sell it.
Is there anywhere we can buy the MJG firewire igniters in Canada?

Ah that's good to hear, deceptive pricing really upsets me. So did you get 40% off the already sale price, or are the prices I am seeing the regular sale price? If for counter strike you got 40% off $33.99 that is a pretty sweet deal.

I found some more info on their website. Looks like it's done as they are showing it tomorrow, but for the DVD it just says coming soon. Did anyone back this via kickstarter? If so do you get any early access or have more info? www.veverkabros.com/showings.htmlSHOWINGS: CINEMAPOLIS Ithaca, NY Tuesday, July 12th, 2016 - 7:00 PM PGI La Porte, Indiana August 9th & 12th, 2016 NFA Grand Rapids, Michigan September 9th & 10th, 2016

Anyone know the status of the release? Though it was supposed to come out today but I can't find anywhere to buy it. I see they have a screening on July 12th, has the release date been pushed back? They failed to raise enough money. Status is up in the air now. Shoot that sucks, I was really looking forward to this. Hopefully something comes out as from the trailers it seems like they have a lot of good footage.

That is pretty cool that they give you a recommended firing order!
Firing 2 off a single queue would work, but do you want 2 items going off at the same time? it could be fine for some items but I would not just wire eveything in the same order but do 2 to a queue, as it may not look right with the 2 different items going off at the same time.
I don't like hand lighting myself, but firing off some by hand could work well for you. Maybe wire up the end of the show so that you can get the best timing at the end, then light the first items by hand.
2 shows is always a good option, not sure of all the items you have here but lighting 72 items off individually may take some time. If some of them are single shots
You could always build a nailboard or get another module for your firing system, or another firing system if you have the money for that.
